Southwestern Illinois Metropolitan and Regional Planning Commission (SIMAPC) was founded in 1963 and is located in Collinsville, Illinois. This organization operates in the urban planning and consulting industry within the engineering, accounting, research and management services sector. Working cooperatively with counties, municipalities and other regional organizations comprising the district, SIMAPC assists in improving and enhancing the economic conditions in its area to provide a positive economic impact and improve the region’s economic prosperity. SIMAPC collaborates with local, regional, state and federal officials, in order to bring a regional perspective and a coordinated approach to the planning and development that occurs in this region.
